Being proactive, The UGLPOA, Inc. requested that our Lake Management Company come up to the lake the week of 8/5/19 and check our lake water status. The findings are that we have a low and acceptable level of a blue green algae bloom which has occurred in past summers with similar conditions. The lake was treated today 8/9/19 with a compound that has been successful in past years, and again in two weeks, if needed. This treatment will not interfere with swimming or recreational activities on the lake.
