| Notice re: ATV Use & The Lakebed |
Turtles are an important part of our lake ecosystem and overwinter in the top few inches of lakebed mud. ATV and snowmobile use on exposed lake bed or muddy areas can unintentionally injure turtles and damage other wildlife habitat. We therfore ask residents to please avoid riding on exposed or muddy lake bottom. As ice conditions change, please remain on solid ice and steer clear of muddy areas. Have fun out there on the ice! |
