IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL UGL RESIDENTS REGARDING LAKE DRAWDOWN
Due to the excessive precipitation that we have been experiencing in the past week and the great influx of water draining into the lake we have had great difficulty maintaining water levels that allow for scheduled projects’ cost effective and efficient completions. Despite the dam valve being fully open, the inflow of water greatly exceeded the outflow, thus the Board of Trustees has decided that to move forward with these projects this season is not in the best interest of our lake community.
The Board of Trustees has decided to close the dam valve and allow the lake to begin to refill.
We will attempt to maintain a 24″ drawdown level for property owners to complete work initiated on approved dock repairs and clean up at dock areas until 12/2/2018 as weather conditions allow. Future changes to this situation will be communicated at the website, on our FB page, email notification system and on the sign at the top of the mountain.
